Scat Records is an independent record label established in January 1989 by Robert Griffin in Cleveland, Ohio. Our ongoing mission is to release music by idiomatic, talented, and fearless rock and roll ish artists. We maintain the highest standards for our vinyl releases, and have done so since the beginning. We have worked extensively with artists such as Guided By Voices, Speaking Canaries, Prisonshake, Cobra Verde, Nothing Painted Blue, Electric Eels, Styrenes, and many others. We are not looking for any new projects at this time.

Fulfillment policy: orders are shipped in 1-3 business days, and you will automatically receive a shipment notification including a tracking number when your order goes out. Preorder items ship out close to the posted street date. Our inventory updates in real time, so in the rare event that a purchased item is unavailable, you will be notified and receive a full refund. If an item is missing or damaged, we will replace it or provide a full refund. For cancellations, you will receive a refund less the minimal processing fee incurred on the original transaction, typically 5% or less.
